This is the view from NEXRAD radar station KEAX located in Kansas City. The software that produces these images allows many different views of incoming storms. All of the menu items are on a 20 minute loop to allow a historical viewpoint of the track of the storm. As watches and warnings are posted, they will appear on the radar image. Note: the displayed images may change as severe weather approaches as I "zoom" in for a closer look at the storm. Refer to the legend of the bottom of the page.
